The problems stemming from unchecked immigration are all over the news. You’ll just never be told they are problems of immigration — children living in poverty, childhood obesity, teen pregnancy, out-of-wedlock births, abysmal high school dropout rates, income inequality, ‘homegrown’ terrorists, massive Medicare frauds, Internet crime, identity theft, prison overcrowding, the vast number of uninsured used to justify Obamacare, sex trafficking, the epidemic of child rape, the destruction of our national parks, drunk driving casualties, drug-resistant tuberculosis, measles and other viral outbreaks, bankrupt government pensions, lower reading and math scores, and shorter ‘Americans.’

The main idea that underlies each of these principles is that the American people are fundamentally pro-legal immigration and anti-illegal immigration. We will only pass comprehensive reform when we recognize this fundamental concept.

But we have so to send a clear message: Just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay. So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.
Sweden, which for much of its modern history has had among the world’s lowest rates of violent crime, was almost always as homogenous as Japan. Now that it has admitted hundreds of thousands of immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa, it is no longer a homogenous country, and its levels of violence have increased dramatically.
There’s no denying that many blacks share the same anxieties as many whites about the wave of illegal immigration flooding our Southern border — a sense that what’s happening now is fundamentally different from what has gone on before.

Importing millions of immigrants whose religion teaches them that we are Satan — when we don’t have to take any — is the new Selma. We were supposed to accept that Islamic terrorism — something that never existed in this country before Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 immigration act — was just a part of life, a wonderful slice of the vibrant fabric of America. If you disagreed, you were a racist.
If your elected representative is talking to you about ISIS, he’s planning to outsource your job and move Syrian refugees into your neighborhood.
If you want a conservative country, you need a conservative populace. Immigration is changing the country, and there will be no changing it back. If you don’t understand that, you are the enemy of any conservative undertaking.

There are a lot of numbers in the immigration debate. But let me give you the most important number of all. That most important number of all is the number of American lives it is acceptable to lose in the name of illegal immigration. Let me tell you what that number is: Zero. Our nation should not accept one lost American life because our country failed to enforce its laws.
… anyone who tells you that immigration doesn’t have any negative effects doesn’t understand how it really works. When the supply of workers goes up, the price that firms have to pay to hire workers goes down.
