You won’t get gun control by disarming law-abiding citizens. There’s only one way to get real gun control: Disarm the thugs and the criminals, lock them up and if you don’t actually throw away the key, at least lose it for a long time … it’s a nasty truth, but those who seek to inflict harm are not fazed by gun controllers. The price of free benefits
Inflation: That’s the price we pay for those government benefits everybody thought were free.
Inflation is as violent as a mugger, as frightening as an armed robber, and as deadly as a hitman.
Ours was the first revolution in the history of mankind that truly reversed the course of government, and with three little words: ‘We the people.’ ‘We the people’ tell the government what to do, it doesn’t tell us. ‘We the people’ are the driver, the government is the car. We must teach and appreciate American exceptionalism
We’ve got to teach history based not on what’s in fashion but what’s important. If we forget what we did, we won’t know who we are. I’m warning of an eradication of the American memory that could result, ultimately, in an erosion of the American spirit.
Government vs. the people
You can’t be for big government, big taxes, and big bureaucracy and still be for the little guy.
Federal interference in education
We developed at the local school district level probably the best public school system in the world. Or it was until the Federal government added Federal interference to Federal financial aid and eroded educational quality in the process.
